Hi Families!
Welcome to Kindergarten in Room 1! My name is Andrea Stalder and I am delighted to be your child’s teacher this year!
This is my 17th year teaching (13th year in Kindergarten) and it is truly my joy and pleasure to work with children, helping them learn all of the foundational things they will need to be set up for success. I believe children learn best in a safe, caring environment. I love to make learning fun and memorable and to do it with a hands-on, inquiry based approach. I have high expectations, but I will do whatever it takes to help them meet those expectations with success and joy.
I believe that your child’s education happens at home and at school. Therefore, I see myself as your partner in your child’s education. Together we will make sure your child learns everything they need to successfully complete Kindergarten and be ready for 1st Grade.
In order for this partnership to work, we need two-way communication. To facilitate this, I use an app called Parent Square. If you ever have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to send me a message on Parent Square and I will get back to you as soon as I can!
